    Default Finger Grips

I'm fairly new to machine quilting. I've been piecing quilts for 15 years, but only recently started to do the quilting. So far I've been able to quilt without any gloves or finger grips. I've only worked with smaller lap sized quilts.
Now I'm trying to finish a twin size and it's not working without that extra help. While looking at the products, I noticed the finger grips only come in packs of 8. Are you supposed to use them on all 10 fingers?

I'd just go with the gloves, but my hands are small and our stores only have medium gloves. I have a feeling those won't work.

I love my Machingers gloves for quilting. I have small hands too and order the small size on-line at Joanns. They do not make your hands sweat, or smell funny, and are so supple you can thread your machine without taking off the gloves. They give excellent grip.

Here's the sizing chart. They make small or extra small gloves. Quilters Touch: Fitting Gloves

Thanks everyone! I needed to get it finished this weekend, so had to pick up the finger grips today. Went ahead and just bought one pack and figured 8 instead of 10 would be plenty. I'll order the Machingers for my next project though.
