And to think as a ‘newbie’ I thought I had no STASH!! This may not be a ‘normal’ stash YET . . . but I’ve spent 2 days washing (what could be washed) and dry-cleaning (in my home dryer) those that were ‘dry-clean only’ - what lies ahead of me is a lot of cutting to salvage what I can use . . . clipping zippers, buttons and anything else that may be reusable. In the meantime I’m “stashing” them in ZipLock Space Vacuum Bags so I can dismantle them over time.

The “good news” is that I have cleared half of a walk-in closet for ‘quilting space’ - the irony is that what came out may go back in as quilting fabric once I get it cut up!!!

My first step is to cut out enough to make my Mr. a ‘manly’ lap quilt. Has anyone ever cut up pants to put in a quilt - is there a technique that would make it an easier job? Also what pattern would be simple/easy enough for a ‘new quilter’??

I’ll say ‘thank you’ in advance since I’m feelin’ guilty always asking for help and not being able to give any . . . maybe eventually I will be able to!
