    Default dis - illusioned with my illusion quilt

    This is about to become a ufo. It just doesn't seem to have the "pop" I've seen in other quilts of this pattern. I know the pieces are in the right places and I'm hoping when it's all together the shadow effect will be more obvious. Is it maybe because there isn't enough contrast in the print and the shadow and background?
