10 Minute Block

It's been a few years since I made this quilt. All 5 blocks are the same size, seems to me the center block really doesn't count toward your size. So for a 12.5 inch block you would start with 6 1/4 inch squares.

Hi! I am new to the site but not new to quilting. I have a question on this block. What size would I need to cut my fabric if I wanted a 12.5 finished block or would that mess this pattern up?
