The guild that I was visiting had a raffle and they were raffling off a tobacco quilt. It was made from the old tobacco sacks that were used to take tobacco to market-or so they said. It was made just in the rectangles that they bags had been made in. It was h e a v y! I don't know what the filling was, but the back was the backs of the sacks. I'm sorry that I didn't get it. It was so striking! I would make what you can find that is authentic for your guide. Good luck!
