Hi! My name is Tammy and I am a new quilter . I bought an Inspira Quilting frame with the Pfaff Hobby 1200 used . I have threaded the machine for what seems like a zillion times and the thread for the needle comes out when trying to sew free form. I am determined to get this to work. I know it has to be the tension or the speed or maybe when free forming you have to hold the 2 thread pieces til it gets started....I have no idea. I've tried slowing the machine down but still the thread comes out of the needle. I feel it must be the tension but the book is limited on istruction. I am using the darning pressure foot and plate. The needle is new and hopefully installed correctly. When I pull the upper thread and the bobbin thread, they pull freely.........Any suggestions?
