Precuts purchased from stores like Missouri Star are not pre-washed.

Most people don't bother pre-washing them either as it defeats the purpose of using precuts in the first place.

Most precuts are not prewashed, because it would fray them and make a mess. They don't really shrink enough to be a problem. There are a few people who rinse them carefully, but most don't.

It is NOT recommended to wash them, I read this on the Moda Bake Shop.

I never wash them. That's just one more step to get rid of..and that helps me get to the "funner"( as my GS says")parts.

Pre-cuts are designed to save you time. If you wash your pre-cuts you will spend lots of time unraveling them, trimming them up, and ironing them. Where's the fun in that?

I am a HUGE believer in pre-washing. And I NEVER wash pre-cuts. (It just ruins them.)
