Absolutely! My first three were done with a 1981 Singer. But I listened to HOW to check for an exact 1/4 seam, hello painters tape. And yes, later I bought a more modern machine, but that Singer will always remain here! She's a workhorse! Walking foot, oh yeah, get one if you don't already have one. Save the FMQ stuff for later, it won't take you long to get the wind under your wings thanks to Jenny, and a LOT of great folks here.
