Of course you can. My only suggestion is to do straight line quilting to start instead of free motion quilting. Free motion quilting can take a while to learn. All you will need is a walking foot to quilt with. These can be bought for a reasonable price on either Amazon or Ebay for your Brother machine. I started with a few baby and lap quilts and either stitch in the ditch or just straight lines done on the diagonals of the quilt. You might want to try a spray baste to hold your layers together too. So much easier than pinning. Happy quilting and keep us posted on your progress. Don't be shy if you have any further questions.
