Regarding the newest tutorial from Jenny.

I thought it should be possible to make this block with a 1 1/2 " strip instead of a jelly roll.

I thought that if you lay out the strips in formation and measure the void, it would be possible to figure out how big the square should be. The square that in the tutorial is 8" big.

Am I way of in my reasoning or is this possible ?
