Default Help to find a tutorial

    Hi

I made this yesterday, just to try to sew one, but are unhappy with the mittle. It is to thick. I watched a video a long time ago about "the mittle" but canīt find it again.

I must say, that i always iron my seems open, i donīt like "to one side", so can any help with a tut ??

    Thank you

    Bente

Maybe some of this videos can help.

    I would cut the tips.

    Good luck

This looks fine to me. What exactly is troubling you? I don't understand "the mittle"

She means in the middle of the block. Where all the seams come together.

    Hi

Yes it looks fine, and i made this with the 60 degree ruler, but what i need is a tut on how to avoid the bulk/thickness in the middel/center. Sorry for any wrong words, i hope you understand

Should i cut of the tip since i always iron my seams open ??

There is the technique of snipping threads and swirling.

There will be bulk in the center of the block - it can be reduced by opening the seams but it cannot be completely avoided in this method.
If you choose to make hexagons using the half-hexie ruler, then it would not be bulky.
