So I've got a whole set of queen sized flannel sheets, ecru (ugh, who would give that color to a mechanic as a gift!) is the color of them, and they don't look too ecru anymore. They're only about 2 yrs old so not worn out just very discolored, I guess that's what happens when you marry a grease monkey! Anyway, I also have a flannel king sized dark navy blue duvet that has been replaced by a non-pet hair attracting duvet. My question is, I've got all of this flannel sheeting, is that the same flannel everyone is talking about for using as a middle piece when making a rag quilt, and/or backing? So much material that would be such a waste to not use, especially when I can't afford to buy fabric! Wonder how many quilts I can make with these sheets?!
