Missouri Star has never done a tutorial for either of those quilts. Where did you find the pictures?
Looks like flip and sew technique .
Have you looked at cozy quilts videos? And the one with the white jagged star in the middle reminds me of bonnie hunters weedwhacker quilt.
Hope this helps
The first one I saw the quilt in a store that had mostly homemade things and antiques, the other a friend sent me because she knows i love purple and black together.
I will have to see if I can find. I love both patterns. Ty.
They both remind me of Kim Bracket's designs as well as what some of Cozy Quilts [Daniella Stout's strip club] patterns look like.
I think they call it a tessellation quilt too

I think I have the pattern for the last picture. I'll be back if I can find it and let you know what it's called :)
I do have it. It's Moscato D'Asti by Melinda Pirone. Sew Precious Creations.
I knew I had seen that before! Next time I go upstairs I'll be checking to see if I have that pattern! Lord knows I have the jelly rolls!
I also thought they looked like something I've seen in one of Kim Brackett's books too. I love all of her books BTW!
Now that I think about it, I'm wondering if you already have the pattern, but want to see how it's done? You can look up tutorials on snowballs, that's the method used for putting the small squares onto the end of the strips. The longer strips are sewn together the same way you make binding strips.
were you able to find a downloadable pattern or have to purchase to ship?
The first two remind me of Bonnie Hunter's Mystery Quilt blocks.
The last one is a variation of the Gourmet Quilter's Picket Fence block. There is a tutorial on YouTube. There is also a free tutorial on Craftsy called Windmills in the Night. The difference is this - Instead of three strips making a block, this picture shows four strips - two solid and two pieced.
I found this pattern in Annie's Craft Store catalog. It is the Swirl quilt pattern: 429342, $8.49.
