Recently did a wall hanging with some applique and quite enjoyed it. Bought on line a book by Margaret Cusack but a little bit too 'arty' for me. Any suggestions? Happy New Year to you all - hope your quilting in 2015 is the bestest ever.![]()

Check your local library. Mine has a ton of quilting books. Great way to browse through them to make sure you like the designs, instructions, etc.
I love anything by Kim Diehl. She is very talented and her instructions and designs are the best. I also have enjoyed her method for machine applique which is a bit different.
I like Kim Diehl too. But I love Cheri Leffler's deisgns. She mostly does cute animals. She's got a website and a Facebook page, which I like better because it has more photos to ohh and ahhh over. I took a Learn How to Machine Applique class from her, she's very pratical and sweet. She lives in my hometown and I see her in my LQS often.

I cooked today. I made a quilt sandwich
I find a primary print coloring book has many applique friendly pictures.
