Better add a card table next to that sewing table! I found paper piecing takes a lot of space!! You will want to have a cutting mat next to you for trimming and as you work, you will want to have all the pieces for that section laid out in a row in front of you so you can easily grab them as you go. I have done only one paper piecing top and it was in a Quiltworx class. It involved about a gazillion pieces, each group marked to keep them separate and then in baggies until it was time to use them. As others have said, there is a lot of waste involved, but the end result is spectacular!

It was not until the second day before I finally had the tada moment and actually knew what I was doing. Once that happens, you will breeze right thru it!
