    Default Adhesive backed batting

I thought I read recently about adhesive backed batting. Sounds like a great idea . Does anyone have experience with it and know where to get it?

Would you mean fusible batting? It is a polyester batting, and one side is treated so that you can iron either your quilt top or back to the treated side and it is "glued" together. I know Joann's sells it. I used it when I first started quilting - I bought a bolt and may even have some left. I now try to avoid adding any additional chemicals to my quilts, so I don't use it anymore. I also used it for placemats and table runners, and I thought it worked well for these small size projects. You can still get wrinkles in your material when you are fusing the batting to the top/bottom, so you do have to make sure your material is very smooth before ironing.

Fusi-Boo? I accidentally picked some up a bit ago. I'm afraid to try it. My luck I'll fuse it to my iron.

Fusible batting is fusible on both sides, not just one.

The batting that I bought from Joann's, on a bolt, about 3.5 years ago is fusible on only one side.
