Hi folks
I have just started cutting up a charm pack into 4 x 2.5" squares. How many layers would you cut at one time. I have been doing four but I think I may be detecting a little movement but one at a time seems quite slow going.
Thanks

I can only cut 2 layers accurately. When I try to do 3, I always end up with pieces that are a slightly different size.

I do two as well. I think it depends on how comfortable you are at how many layers are cut at once.
Just two. I am a klutz.
However many you are comfortable with doing.
p.s. I'm a klutz too so I would probably just do one or two at a time. Maybe listen to some good music to make it more enjoyable and less boring. But no wine, otherwise they will turn out wonky!

A new blade will make your cuts more accurate and you can cut more layers without mishap. I have trouble making myself change blades, just pressing harder is part of what makes for wonky cuts.
I was cutting 4-6 layers yesterday and realized I need to change my blade before doing anymore.
I only do about 2-3 at a time - works best for me.

I usually do 2 or 3 depending on how thick the fabric.
I cut up to 4 layers with a sharp blade. I've read that you can cut more layers with a larger rotary cutter, i.e. 60mm.

I feel comfortable with 3 layers even with a fresh blade.
