3 charm packs - project recommendations?
Good morning! I am new to this forum and fairly new to quilting, although I have made a few small children's quilts. My question is sort of a weird one, but here goes: I recently bought 3 charm packs (2 with designs and 1 solid white) that I purchased for a specific project I saw on one of Jenny's tutorial videos. I did not bookmark the video and now I have forgotten what the project was!! (Duh!!!) Anyway, would any of you happen to know which of her projects calls for 3 charm packs like I mentioned above? Any suggestions or recommendations will be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!!
Re: 3 charm packs - project recommendations?
Good Question, wish I knew the answer. If it were me, I would start watching the videos again, at least the ones that look like they may take charms. Sorry I wasn't more help.

Re: 3 charm packs - project recommendations?
I'm wondering if you are thinking of the X & O. I have a huge "sew it" list and beside the x&o i have "charms - 2 pattern, 1 solid".
Hope that helps
Oh and welcome to the forum :)

Welcome! One of our members broke up some of the tutorials into precut sizes too. It's the last in her user notes

Re: 3 charm packs - project recommendations?
3 charms give you a lap sized quilt unless you add a solid to offset it then you get bigger!

Re: 3 charm packs - project recommendations?
It appears that Falling Charms would fit the bill. Every color/print charm square is paired with half of a white one to create that offset.
Re: 3 charm packs - project recommendations?
Jenny uses the 3 charm packs in the Falling Charms.
Re: 3 charm packs - project recommendations?
I looked but the only one I came up with that uses a 2-1 ratio of print to white would be the X's and O's . She makes a small one but says you can make larger as long as you do the 2-1 ratio. Oh, I think same is true of the bow tie block quilt. The falling charms quilt uses charm packs plus white jelly roll or 2-1/2" strips.

I was going to suggest the X and O quilt too. I am making one as a Christmas present for my son's GF. I am using 3 charm packs and a few jelly roll strips though.

Re: 3 charm packs - project recommendations?
I have made Pinterest boards according to precuts if you look in my signature that should link you to the tutorials you can see the quilts so you don't have to know them by name. I'm a visual learner so I set it up for me and I'm happy to share.
