Has anyone done a dessert roll race quilt?

Re: Dessert Roll
I have a pattern for desert rolls called "going my way". Have not done it yet but it looks almost as easy as jelly roll race.

Re: Dessert Roll
I think if I were to do one, just to give it some interest, I might point the ends. You know how you made a dresden block? You take a blade and fold it in half length wise and sew across the top then turn it and you have a point? Or just snowball the corners then alternate which way it's pointing. Just for fun.
It would be interesting to see some quilts made with desert rolls. I have one that I have not used yet. It's different produce. I think it was called Farmers Market.
