I was told by the owner of the quilt shop there is, however, I don't have one....yet!
I gotta get me one! I'm used to sewing with the 1/4 inch foot, on the 221 I use tape and I'm not always thinking of the tape and before I realize it I'm sewing back to the foot. The foot on my 221 is 1/8 inch.
My guess is some version of MonkeyMan..... :icon_heh:
You can get one from: suncatcher-tx.com or novamontgomery.com. I've ordered from both places and Nova's is more expensive. Plus they give you tips and tricks and how to maintenance your machine on the sites. On Nova's website, she has manufactured a clear acrylic plate that you screw on your machine to guide your fabric along the quarter inch mark. Works better than the purple tape. Very friendly.
You can also look at Singer featherweight parts, Singer Featherweight parts, singer featherweight 221... Or April 1930's - A Sewing Shoppe
You'll find a lot of info there re 221's. Btw, I purchased the acrylic plate from nova montgomery, but it didn't like it...because I don't always sew quilts... And sometimes need a 5/8" seam - so, screwing the plate and measuring for 1/4" was too much work... I'd rather get a 1/4" foot.
There is a face book group associated with April's 1930's. It is moderated by her husband Carmon and has a wealth of information. I enjoy reading about them and seeing lots of pictures.
I have a 1/4" foot that fits my machine but like having a seam guide as well. I have both that came from my local Singer dealer. The seam guide screws into the bed of the FW and can be moved out of the way easily if I want to sew diagonally across a square for HST.
Here's wonderful link for anything and everything about and for Featherweight machines...enjoy!

I use my ordinary foot and set my needle at 5.5, that gives a quarter inch if I line up the edge of the foot with the edge of my seam. You can tell I'm on a very very tight budget !
I have one for mine - and I love it!!
Mine came with a seam guide that screws in the hole next to the pressure foot and I adjusted it to the perfect quarter inch:)
Try getting in touch with Betty Neff, the Pennsylvania Quilter. She has a wealth of knowledge about featherweights. I would trust buying from her more than Amazon. I have the plastic 1/4" foot that she sells, and use it in conjunction with a vintage screw in seam guide on my Featherweight. Her website is: Pennsylvania Quilter
Thank you for the links.
