Default Janome Binder Set - WHAT??

Have any of you seen this or do any of you have this tool? I love decorative stitches on binding and although I enjoy hand sewing, I suck at it! I think I'd still want to do a mitered finish using my binding tool but wow. I'm curious to hear thoughts on this! And if anyone has an idea on the cost of this I'm all ears. TIA! xox

that is harder than it looks, and you only get 1 layer to the binding on the edge. If you can get the hang of it and are ok with the thickness on the edge of the quilt it would be great. Would have to google it for price

It seems to run $149.00 at all the places I found.

When I bought the stitch in the ditch foot for my Janome 8200 walking foot (dual feed) the manager showed me that binding tool. She said it really works well. It was $169 Canadian. I'm not sure I could shell out for that, although if you really really hate binding it may well be worth it. It looks pretty cool!

I am not familiar with the Binder Set. However, I have done decorative stitching on the binding.

I noticed that she only has one width of the binding can you adjust to smaller widths of binding or just set to one width, hope that mad sense, lol.

Mt dealer showed us that tool when we were taking out 7700 lessons. The price and size of it scared me big time!

I think it's a lot of money for a gadget!
Sewing binding is easy if you use fusible thread in your bobbin, just sew down one side, fold over and press. The binding stays in place while you sew it.
    Newbies will eventually become oldies
