    Have you seen the 'Midwinter Red' collection by Moda? Stunning.
    The charm packs are no longer available here, but I'll bet you could find it easily. (Not a bright red, more of a subtle brick red). The coordinating favorite is very impressive. It's in my sewing stash, and calling me, for a wedding quilt in August....
    I really need to get off the exclamation point.
    It may give people the idea that I'm bright and cheerful all the time....

    A red and white quilt is big on my list too. And the hunters star in red and white sounds especially nice!

    This isn't very helpful but an old wives tale for red and white is blood and bandages!!
    So if it was me I'd go for something with red in it, and co ordinate.
    Newbies will eventually become oldies

    Red and white are the original colors for an Irish Chain quilt. But I think with the boldness of the red, a simple single chain would provide more color balance. Just my 2 cents.
