Jenny has a tutorial on the first one - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjGifl2m_3k

    Second one looks like a Jacob's Ladder - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itUKAJ6RaOc

For anyone who doesn't have the binding tool, here's a really easy pattern for the first one: Free Table Topper Quilt Pattern

I've made several for wedding gifts and they go together super-quick.

ok...so i've made the table runner...now how do I finish it? I assume I just put a rectangular backing and batting on it then trim after quilting and bind as usual?

LOL! I know...i get this from my mother. I'm really tired now. lol The table runner is quilted and machine bound and in the wash. I now know why I hand bind...machine binding is hard to do neatly...well for me it is. And the mitered corners...forget it.

I love them, they are both so pretty,
Good friends are like quilts, they age with you but, never lose their warmth
