Somehow the thread got wound around the hand wheel and there was about a spool full of thread wound on there. It is a miracle that I didn't burn up the motor. Take a look and see if you have a wad of thread on the shaft of your bobbin winder or wheel.
Oh I did this at work one time ... didn't hurt the machine...but the mechanic was sure mad!
