Default Patterns that use both a Jelly and a matching layer cake?

Gloria mentioned the Magic Square pattern in another post. Made me start thinking, just how many patterns do use a matching jelly roll and layer cake.

    So here goes:

    1. Magic Square

So, how many more are there? Could you also post the link to the pattern or video.

If I think of any more I will post them.

I really like the second one! I might have to try that someday... I've never had a jelly roll and a layer cake in the same pattern, though. Time to look into it!

I have a jelly roll and fat quarter pk with 12 FT and I am thinking of doing the F&P quilt called Emily's wedding quilt. It was featured on one of their shows that had Liz Porter as the guest. It is made from alternating 54/40 or fight and ??? blocks. I can't stand it when I can't think of something. Maybe I will come up with it later on and edit or repost.

This pattern calls for three matching 5" charms squares and a jellyroll to make the hunters star quilt. I cut the matching layer cake into 4 matching 5" charm squares and used the fourth charm square in the border.

Sorry, beyond the Jellyroll+Layercake I can't think of any other pattern right now....I'm brain dead today.

Craftsy has a FREE pattern called Topiary Tiles. It uses a matching jelly roll and layer cake, but also requires some sashing and a border. Sorry, I don't have the link, but hopefully anyone interested will go to Craftsy and do a query. It is a downloadable pattern.

Kimberly Einmo (or something like that) teaches lone star quiltmaking - she has a class on Craftsy - anyway - she uses jellyroll strips to make the lonestar and layercake to make some of the background or borders. She has a method that uses no Y seams.
