sweing on a quilt label?

I assume this is done by hand so it doesn't show up on the front of the quilt...yes?

Hi Wendy

What I do is sew 2 sides when sewing the binding on then I just have to hand sew the other 2 sides.
That is when you put in a corner.

Wendy, are you going to print out a list of all of our names to give to your sister too since we all helped you?

I sew my labels on by hand after the quilt is completed in the bottom R. corner on the back of the quilt. You have to keep checking to make sure none of your stitches show on the front of the quilt. JCY

AWWW!! I will be working...but I do have a half hour lunch!! LOL! I assume you're on your way to the city? Have a nice drive...I will think of you waving at noon....as you hope for no traffic on the 401....on a Friday afternoon....of a long weekend...with an amazing weather prediction! I promise to wave back! ;)

Heading to Dwight for 10 days, ETR to 401. I expect traffic issues. We have three large dogs now so two cars. I will have two with me, stopping for bathroom breaks is going to take planning. Lol. Would love to meet one of these days.

Sometimes I sew them on by machine before sandwiching. Then they're quilting right into the backing.

Some day!! I need to go to NY to buy some of those back alley purses! LOL! A friend has one that she picked up for $20, leather and I told her I'd give her $50 and she won't sell it to me! LOL! I am working up to visiting NY...i'm not a big "city" person. Loved New Jersey tho!!
