Default how do you quilt a top with pinwheels?

I've been making a top with pinwheels, but now I don't know how to quilt it. I remember that once I've seen a quilt were the pinwheels were quilted curved, and that made them look even more as if they were spinning. Don't know how to do that. Anyone there who could help me on this? Or maybe some other interesting ways for quilting the pinwheels? I want to machinequilt it.

You really could quilt it any way you like. In the ditch around all of the shapes, straight line vertically and/or horizontally, or FMQ any design you want-stipple or loops are just a couple. There are no quilt police remember, so do what your heart tells you and it will be wonderful! If you like to visit any quilting blogs, do a search on them and see if they have any pinwheel quilt pics for inspiration. I can't wait to see it.
I just did a quick search and here's a finished pinwheel table runner that has been FMQuilted

this one is stitched in the ditch, I think

this one has heart shapes in the solid color part of the blocks

those last 2 links didn't post as links, sorry.....just do a search for pinwheel on her site and they will come up, DH is hankering for dinner so I can't re-link right now......sorry!
I hope it helps at least a little bit

I made a twister quilt where I echoed the pinwheels and it looked really nice.

Lenie, I did a meandering FMQ on my pinwheel quilts, and it was easy and fun, I thought. Doing an outline would also look smashing, I think, and is a straight line alternative. I can't wait to see a pic of it!

I also did the meandering FMQ on my pinwheel quilt. Anything you pick looks good on the quilts. Don't forget to post a photo in show-n-tell.

Thank you all! I've never done the FMQ yet, and don't think I can do that yet. Maybe I should echo the pinwheels, just have to figure it out more. I've seen your quilt SummerK and it looks great. Hope it's not to difficult. Sure I will post it, when I have it ready!

Lenie, I haven't done any FMQ yet either. I love the look of stitching 1/4 inch around each block, but it's alot of starting and stopping. That is how I am quilting this friendship braid and I love it.
