Threading Brother Nouvelle 1500s
I'm new to this, hope this is the place to ask this question. Can anyone tell me how to thread a Brother Nouvelle 1500s machine. I don't have the manual and have been trying everything I can think of. It picks up the bobbin thread, sews a few nice stitches, then the thread breaks! I've changed the needle and thread. Or tell me where to find a manual for this machine. Thanks!

You can trying going to the website youtube.com and searching How to thread a Brother Nouvelle 15oo sewing machine or you can contact Brother.com and ask for a manual. They will even answer questions about your machine right there online.Once you get to the website brother.com go to the support option and ask your question there.Hope this helps. I have 2 brother machines and have had to use this a few times.

Good info! Let us know what happens. Sometimes it can be something really simple that messes things up.

I do know that on my Brother, your presser foot has to be UP for the tension to thread correctly.
Don't know about the thread breaking. It could be there is dust in the bobbin area, perhaps thread is stuck in the threading area, tension too tight, needle not large enough for the thread. I just try a gazzillion different things and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. Frustrating, I know. You should have seen me yesterday! Once I threatened to get out another machine and it started to play nicely - for a time, anyways.
Hugs,

Thanks to Rhonda's quick reply, I got it going! I found the manual on line, and just started over. Rethreading, new needles, different thread, changing the tension, and saying a few thoughts out loud.... It was quilting like a breeze last night. Thanks new friends for your help!!
