Yeah - me too. My girlfriend mentioned she was interested in getting an Accuquilt cutter and we share the cost, but after seeing this Big Shot - that might be our answer.

I got the Silhouette Cameo as I like to use my own graphics and I'm quite happy as it cuts vinyl, fabric, applique, etc.
Now of course it doesn't do four layers thick at a time...Really does Don need his side of the closet? Could I save up my quarters for a Accuquilt or Big Shot? Should I behave and just be jealous?
I just better behave and read this thread as it evolves.![]()

I have the AccuQuilt and love the 2 1/2" and the 5" cutters...use them more than the others. I have a Cricut and haven't tried it for fabric yet, but going to when I get some time.

I work to support a sewing habit that I don't have time for, because I work!
I just got the Accuquilt last month and really like it. I just finished a quilt for my grandson in which I used the 5" die to cut my own "charms.". I agree that the 2 1/2" strip cutter is awesome! Really helps crank out the binding.
I got lucky on Thursday found that JoAnn's had dies 25% off. Figured that with shipping, Fabric Hut couldn't beat that price! Chris
I had a Big Shot when I use to do papercrafting and cardmaking and loved it, but sold it when I decided to go back into quilting. Its well made and will never let you down. Sometimes I wish I still had it but I have the Accuquilt Go and I'm really pleased with it. Also with my Accuquilt Go I can cut my 2 1/2 inch strips and use my larger dies.
Also for smaller fabric cut designs I have the Slice Fabrique and it works great too!
