I like the idea of naming after the fabric or pattern etc, but this fabric of mine is from a range called The Spice Trail....I mean, come on...that last thing you'd think of is spices. It's got flowers and paisley all over it!!!

I'm not a complete idiot.....some pieces are missing!

I call mine by the name of the pattern. A long time ago, I called one "bluekey". I never named cars until marrying my second husband, and now everything with a motor has a name, except my sewing machines.
Joyce "She who dies with the most fabric wins!!"
If a name comes to me, I'll name it. I need to make labels for them all, but sometimes I am in such a hurry to finish, the label gets skipped. Sometimes I just can not think of a name.
My sewing machines all have names (except my poor neglected serger). I never named them when I was making costumes, it was just a tool I had to use to do a job. But when I started sewing just because I wanted to vs because I had to, my machines and I have so much FUN together. Each one has it's own unique character. So now they all have their own unique name.
I don't enjoy anything the way I enjoy my machines, so I don't name anything else.
