Default Color suggestions, please, Oh Wise Ones ;-p

I'm going to make the Radiant pattern by Daniella Stout for my daughter. I originally was thinking dark black/medium black/red but she said she'd rather have a dark/bright yellow instead of the red. Soooo, now I'm thinking dark grey/medium grey/yellow. For some reason, I don't like the yellow with the black combo. It's a surprise but she happened to see the pattern and said she thought it would look better with yellow. Whatcha' all think??? I tried to copy a pic but couldn't but if you google pictures, the black/red combo comes up.

That's the one. It would be dark grey/medium grey and yellow where the red is.

I think the gray and yellow combination will make a really great quilt.

(If all the pieces fit perfectly, people will think it was made by a machine!) LOL

So, playing with fabrics-what do you think of the Kona solids: buttercup/black/coal combination?

Sounds like a good combo. I love yellow with black/grey...it will make the whole quilt look sophisticated, yet cheerful. Keep us posted!

Grey & Yellow is a very modern combination. I say go for it and share the pictures. I am sure you will do a great job.
