This was the first block I learned.
I had gone into the sewing shop in town after unsuccessfully looking for the only quilting shop in town. I was asking about where the quilt shop was because I had finally decided it was time to learn and this very nice woman who happened to be making that block took the time to show me. She helped me pick out some fabrics and explained everything then sat me down at one of the machines there in the store and let me sew up a couple. It was a very pleasant experience for my introduction to quilting.
Speaking of which, I should make time to stop in there and say hello again. Very nice ladies.

I was going to ask what you were going to back it with, but I see you posted again to say it was the green.
While I like the white which I'm sure looks wonderful, I was thinking if you were going to use a contrasting color to the green that's so prominent on the front, you could use that as a border to tie into the back. Its a moot point now however since its off to the quilter. Hope to see pictures eventually.
Wonderful fabric and you did a fine job on the blocks.
