Default My sewing machine not working

I don't know what is wrong with my sewing machine the upper thread is jaming up in the bobbin case. I have been looking at youtub to try and fingure it out. Do you think maybe I need a new bobbin case?

In cases where I can't find a quick fix, I always take the top thread and bobbin out, clean up fuzzies I can see, then start from scratch threading the machine and winding a new bobbin. Most times that's all it needed.

Try taking your bobbin holder out completely and cleaning the race. There may be a big pile up of lint and fluff that you can't see. It can cause all sorts of problems if it is that.

when you clean out the bobbin case get a childs paint brush, long and skinny, and get down in all the crevices. Then like suggested above rethread everything from the start.

It could also be that the timing has been knocked out of sequence ..

I had the exact same thing happen to my machine. I did the cleaning thing, changed the needle, put a newly wound bobbin, and rethreaded. Still had the same problem. I had to take it in, and it took them five weeks to fix because of their workload. Good luck on yours!

I sure wish the manufacturers would put a little door at the bottom under the needle area to make it easier to see and remove lint. It is difficult to find it all looking into the bobbin area. I guess they don't so the mechanics will have something to do.

I have no idea what was wrong with mine, but I bet it was the timing. I did not pay for new parts, so nothing was broken.
