The salmon pieced wall hanging was designed by Jean Wells, owner of The Stitchin' Post quilt shop in Sisters, OR. It was designed as the signature quilt pattern for the 2013 Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show. They hold it every summer on the second Saturday of July. I've attended the past two years and hope to go back this year. My sister lives in Oregon, and has a weekend place just outside of Sisters. This is their view from their place--terrible scenery, don't you think?

I found the pattern at their shop, and then saw that shipping was $6. Almost didn't order, but noticed a note that said most single patterns were shipped free or at reduced rates. Called them on the phone to ask if this one was free or reduced. She said free, so I ordered it right away. They were VERY nice over the phone. Oregon is probably not a place I will ever visit, but I have heard lots about the Sisters quilt show. Sounds like it would be a great place to visit.
Didn't know Jean Wells was the owner.
