Sampler Quilt Using Charms

I would like to find a pattern or instructions for a quilt with beginner friendly blocks made with charms. I am in a group of ladies who would like to learn to quilt and I thought a pattern like that would be a good way to learn basic blocks and also end up with a usable lap size quilt. I saw the Halloween quilt that MS is doing but would like to do something that is not geared toward just one holiday, etc. Any Ideas?

Craftsy has two free years of sampler blocks. I'm not sure how many use charms though.

Another idea is just to do a block from the tutorials here that use charms.

There is a lady on YouTube who goes by the name GourmetQuilter. She has several tutorials on blocks made with charms.

The Fat Quarter Shop has a free pattern and tutorial today on their site. Used charms.
Jenny has many patterns using charms, nine patches, four patches, etc.
many online patterns, too

What about this Quilt....the Flower Garden Charm Pack Quilt....This would be easy for beginners I think.....This is made with Charm Packs. I consider myself a beginner quilter, and I have made this blocks ....

I think either one of these would be easy to do with a group.

My first quilt was a charm pack quilt. It started out as a lap or wall hanging and ended up being queen sized. It is a disappearing 9 patch. It is simple and Jenny has a tutorial on it.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I have decided to try using one of Kim Diehl's patterns...Hearthside Memories. The pattern is a Downloadable from AllPeopleQuilt.com. for about 6 dollars. Colorful, easy, and scrappy..
