I'm not really sure why, but I prefer a neutral thread. I made one with threads matching each area and hated the way it looked on the back. I know a lot of people use gray.

I would use a green/blue variegated thread. i love the variegated threads for the top. just match thread to backing color for bobbin.

Ohhhh...... love those! They have a Vintage Holiday 4112 that might be perfect. This way I can embrace the colors instead of hiding them. The mention 12 and 30 weight. I have no clue what to get or why.

I'd use either varigated blue/green or monofilament.

Question....why blue/green Instead of just green? Does it blend better? Sorry if it's an obvious answer. I just have no idea.
