Default Would you wash a wallhanging?

I am making a wallhanging for my sewing room. I am in the process of FMQ right now. I was wondering...I love the wrinkly look for a quilt when you wash and dry it after FMQ. I just don't know if I would do a wall hanging in the same way....What is your opinion?

For the real 'quilty' look, I would treat it just like a quilt. If you love the tidy, smooth just finished look, then I would leave it as is. Personally, I love both looks.

I like the wrinkled look on quilts too. For a wall hanging however, I think the smooth unwashed look would be better.
