Snow Days batik by LaundryBasket from Moda....
I was wondering if anyone had made a quilt with this fabric. I picked up two jelly rolls at a great price & now figuring out what I'd like to do. I don't want to do a jelly roll race but was thinking more like nine patches set on point alternating with bands of one of the fabrics. Any suggestions, Quilting Mavens?

Have not and not sure how I missed that line - it is gorgeous!! I found a table runner on Etsy made out of it - just simple squares and straight line quilting and it looks fabulous! I think anything you do with this line will look great!

This is a different look for a nine patch. It would be pretty with all the blues in your jelly roll.

Wow. That line is beautiful. The hashtag quilt would show them off

I think a tube quilt would look gorgeous with that fabric: https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...50.VLiKMqZTsOE
Take a close look at the second quilt.

Hadn't thought of that. I remember that Illinsmith(?) posted a very pretty one in purple back in October that I really liked.

This "different " look for a nine patch is gorgeous.....!!

I found the type of pattern I was thinking of by typing in Snow Days batik and looking under images. I just can't picture fabric in different types of pattern. I need to actually see it! Still looking for ideas if anyone has any other suggestions!

I've seen that line and it's yummy. What about a two color quilt and do a Jacob's ladder Remix? Jenny has done a tutorial on it and it looks w o n d e r f u l...... It's on my list for this winter....
Re: Snow Days batik by LaundryBasket from Moda....
I used Snow Days charm packs for the falling charms by Jenny. Looked great and was well received. Take note to use extra color catchers, they did bleed.

Since I have two rolls, would you separate out the blues from the browns & only use one of the colors with the beige/off white that's in the roll?

Gosh, thanks for reminding me-I'd wondered about that when I bought it!

Rail Fence or Chinese coins. Do the rail fence blocks, but arrange them in a random pattern and frame each block.
