Default Time Period Fabric and Pattern Question

Is there a website or a book that helps with material and patterns time periods? I have bought some reprint fabric from the 1930s I believe that I want to make a quilt with but would prefer a pattern from that time period. I have other reprint fabric that I would prefer to make in the style that was popular.

I did a quick search and found this book on Amazon. It's funny because the picture on the front is a pattern my grandma did.

Fancy to Frugal: Authentic Quilt Patterns from the '30s: Kay Connors, Karen Earlywine: 9781604680003: Amazon.com: Books

An article on some patterns - http://www.interweave.com/needle/pro...Era-Quilts.pdf
