I do not think that has a name. It appears that they used a piece of fabric they liked for the center, and framed it out until it was the size they wanted. The first border is pieced with charms or something to that affect. Then multiple borders.
The only person I know who would put a name on that would be Eleanor Burns. LOL. She comes up with names for all manner of things.
It should be easily reproduced though. Based on what I see.
It's lovely - is it antique? What size is it - I fancy having a go at something like it. Thumbs up for everything already said - the outer border looks like the same fabric as the inner panel.
It is lap size but more square rather than long. I just love the colors. My girlfriend liked I so much she bought it because the fabric was no longer available. Would like to make one like it. Thanks for the help.
I'm thinking you'll need one large-print fabric for the center "panel" and outer border, plus two coordinating solids and one coordinating (smaller) print for the inner borders and binding.
Very nice design; and super simple! I believe the key is going to be finding a large-print fabric you really love.
It is pretty. It is elegant

Ooooh! Lucky you!
Here's a free pattern that is similar. Kensington shared this site with me.

Love the quilt. It shows that color choice and some clever play with the alternating squares just sets it off. Lovely.
