I bought some along with the thread to round out the free shipping and to check the quality. I was more than pleased.
The white-on-white prints took fabric dye really well too. We played with the acid fabric dyes (not RIT) this summer and they took and held the color.
Just an FYI for anyone wanting to play with dyeing their own fabrics.

I also have bunches of their thread and love it. I also really like their fabrics and find they are very reasonable in cost.

Like Bubby, that is all I use. I clean my machine frequently so the lint really doesn't bother me. My machine loves it too.

Can't wait to see how yours turns out - I really like this. I hate trying to figure out which bobbin thread matches. I have one of those round bobbin holders and tried one of the "tree" kinds, but I like this where the bobbin is with the matching thread.

I'm not just buying fabric, I am supporting the economy...
A bad day in the sewing room is better than a good day at the office.
I have played with thread for a year now with regard to the lint in the needle area and bobbin. I have found that COnnecting Threads 100% cotton is just about the best..and that most of the fluff I get comes from the fabric or batting. I found if I use a thinner batting I get less lint. I found that no matter what, 100% cotton fabric will leave some lint. So it isn't the thread that is the biggest culprit! So I stocked up on CT threads on Cyber Monday last year and got 15 spools (had some already) and got common colors. I also found that at Joann's Coats and Clark 100% cotton is great to...as well as the Dual Duty cotton covered polyester..but those are a bit more expensive, but great to have a local place to buy. I ahve been making pillows for my living room this past 2 weeks and using a thin batting, 100% cotton fabric and CT threads (mostly) and some C&C... and the lint in the bobbin is very minor and I just clean every other day or so. So I can highly recommend the CT threads. And the price..you can't beat it! I bought just the regular spools, not the cones as it seems my machine likes the spools better than a cone..why I don't know, maybe it is cause the spool is closer to the needle are area and the cone has to be set farther off hte machine and that length is annoying the machine... that also could be why less lint...I was always using the cone holder even for a spool as I kept the feet and needles I was using in the area the spool should go. But since I started using the spool in its place...just seems like a contribution to less lint!
That rack looks really cool. I like that you can store your bobbin thread under the spool and keep them together.
I wish my honey had wood working tools.

Cil, I love the thread holder you are making. Very cool. I have some old square head nails left from my wood crafting days that would be very cool to use if I could make one of these. If and when I get the spare room cleaned out and turn it in to my 'studio'. Nah, I think mine will just be my sewing room. Or could name it creatacraft area.
