    I did a red/white/ blue quilt for a soldier that was deployed. This is super easy to do.

    I began sewing my strips together and decided I didnt like the feel of the cotton, it is cheap fabric, stiff, and etc. I decided to bag it up and call a friend to give it to. She sews for Project Linus. It may be that Ive had the fabric so long that it may have actually caused it to get that way...I have a quilt kit from another charity project. So much for my patriotic quilt. Moving on...
