I enjoyed all of the great advice on rulers. Does anyone else dread cutting yardage? I always seem to make the edge more uneven and end up wasting fabric. Once in a while I'll rip it like my grandmother used to do just because I get so frustrated trying to rotary cut fabric when its longer than my mat. I've tried folding it but that's when most of my mistakes happen. Cutting yardage is the only thing I do not like about quilting...maybe I can learn to love it?!
