Pattern ?

Denis, thanks so much. Found this tutorial, Quilting on Main Street: Tutorial For Many Trips Around the World Quilt Block, but she used fusible facing to stabilize each section before she sewed block, not sure that step is necessary. Now I have a starting place I'll continue looking also. Thanks again

It almost looks like it is in the Blooming Nine Patch family. It has that "bloom" of color. Don't know enough about this pattern to comment more...have bought the book, but haven't had a chance to really study it yet.

I can't give you any help, but I love the quilt! Especially love the shading effects!

It reminds me of a Boston Commons quilt....only this one has each block is made as a separate "quilt", then joined together and is set on point with gradiation of colors. Beautiful quilt pattern.

Funny you found a tutorial that uses fusible cuz I was going to suggest using it too if you were going to design your own and cut out a million little squares. You can get fusible that comes as a grid in various sizes(1",2", etc,) even on point. You lay out your squares and fuse them down with an iron, then fold on the printed line then sew 1/4".

Thanks for the help everyone. Using fusible might be the way to go with sooooo many small pieces. Going to do more research and see if easier way to do this block. Thanks again.

I was thinking the same thing! I thought I had saved a blog with an example and pulled out hairs trying to find it from yesterday. Now I can go on with my day. lol
