    Default Wedding Star Quilt

Has anyone made a Bali Wedding Star quilt? It is so beautiful! I now have the templates and the foundation paper piecing. I plan to try to make it soon. If you have made it, did you have difficulty making it? I have never made a Wedding Ring quilt, and I know they are challenging.

Not made it, but it is a very pretty quilt. You've got your work cut out for you.

It's a gorgeous quilt and way out of my league on quilting skills. Please post a picture when you have finished it.

I do have one question though. The finished size is 80" X 80". Isn't that an odd size? Too big for a lap quilt, but not really long enough for a bed quilt. I have a queen size bed and the top of the mattress measures 60" X 80". Are you making it that size or another size?

Is that a design close to this? I took this picture of a church in the Czech Republic, saying I wanted to make a quilt using this pattern.

Close, but not exact. The church has a 6 lobed star and the quolt has a 4 lobed star. Has anyone seen a wedding ring pattern with 6 lobes?

Joyce, it is gorgeous and you will do a fantastic job on it. I am struggling with my kaleidoscope, but am persevering.

Jean, I found a diamond Wedding Ring by Judy Neimayer Diamond Wedding Ring. She has lots of wedding ring variations - all paper pieced.

It's magnificent to be sure! No, I've not made it yet. I want to do her New York beauty pattern first. Good luck, Joyce. I think you will need to really take your time and work your way through it one step at a time. It will be worth it all!!!!

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.

Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??
