Curtain material can it be quilted ?

I have loads of curtain material, mainly 2/3 yards lengths and I was wondering if anyone had ever made a quilt Using this fabric and if so what advice would you have. Also I have a lot of curtain lining which I hope might be useful in a quilt.

I don't know how old your curtain fabric is, I'm sure yours isn't that old, but some of the older curtains had fiber glass in them. Just be careful.
