Re: Disappearing Four Patch
Your quilt turned out beautiful! I hear you on the flannel! I just this morning finished putting the binding on a flannel window pane disappearing 9 patch! I cut everything on the straight of grain but it was still a lot of stretching going on no matter how careful I was. I'm going to take pictures and see how to post a picture.
Re: Disappearing Four Patch
I think you did a wonderful job!
Re: Disappearing Four Patch
I see nothing but a wonderful, beautiful, cozy quilt! Your perseverance paid off!
Re: Disappearing Four Patch
Nice job! I love flannel quilts but I'd bet it was tough with those lines. Really nice job.
Re: Disappearing Four Patch
I think it's lovely & I didn't see any mistakes,,, as everyone here has said, flannel is tricky in small pieces..
The D4P is really nice in batiks. There is a group doing them now, check it out. BTW this pattern is much easier in100% cotton :)
Re: Disappearing Four Patch
Okay, I looked for mistakes but couldn't see any. I honestly think this is a very pretty quilt. I'm almost done with a flannel quilt for 3-month-old DGS... will post pics when I'm done.
Re: Disappearing Four Patch
Oh my goodness!! I think it is stunning!! Looks so cozy and comfortable!!!
Re: Disappearing Four Patch
It looks good to me! Way to go on sticking with it and finishing your top. I love the pink!
Re: Disappearing Four Patch
I think your quilt is lovely. I really like the colors. I couldn't see anything I would call wrong.
I doubt the ones you give it to will even notice what you perceive as mistakes or imperfections. Isn't that what makes hand made items unique?

You did a great job! It is really pretty. What size squares did you start with?
