Howdy, from Texas--we visited Honolulu a few years ago--just beautiful--went to Pearl Harbor --words are not adequate to describe the feelings that come over you when your there. I live near Waco where there is a Jo Ann's Fabric and bought that kind of batting on sale a few weeks ago--they are always having good sales and have online store, try them if you haven't you might find what your looking for.....your quilts are beautiful---I'm still a beginner, but with Jenny at MSQC I'm learning. Pray you had a very blessed Christmas and that your New Year will be full of God's blessings and more beautiful quilts!!

Aloha Texas, welcome. Yes Pearl Harbor really, really does something to you can describe the feeling very emotional. We don't have a Joann's here only Walmart an Ben Franklin and I do and miss all the great sales on the mainland that is why when I go home to Santa Barbara where my husband and I are from I bring an extra suitcase for fabric and batting, lol. I hope you hand wonderful holiday, God Bless and thanks for the compliment on my quilts. I am not as good as some of these wonderful ladies on this site are. Keep trying and if you need help just send me a message and I will try my best.

I have a store that sells it by the yard here. I forget how much though. I started to buy Quilters dream in the pkg at a quilt shop. Do you want me to check for you?

I am from Michigan....here's a link for 50 % off batting....check your Jo-Ann's store in your state for this.

Also, I have been given a big big box of fabrics, and some batting FREE!!!!!!!!
What do you know about this batting :
    poly-fill low-loft batting

On the packaging said that the batting was 1/4" low-loft weight ( recommended for quilting distance 2"-4"
    Quilt-King 110 inches X 110 Inches ( 279 cm x 279 cm)

You might "guess" I am very new to quilting ! I was so surprised to find this unused package of batting for free. I also received another package that's been opened, the package reads :
Mountain Mist Quality Qult Batting for 45" X 60" ( 112.5 X 150.0 ).....ALTHOUGH the package has been opened, and I think some it has been used (?) Could I use this opened package for making the tote bags from the video that Jenny made ?

Boy you can sure tell I am new to this stuff huh ? I wish I hadn't made the decision to "re-do' my craft room just before I started posting on here.....I have decided to set up a small folding table at the far end of the living room....for now. I have a couple of friends that are telling me that I shouldn't do that, that setting up a table in my living room is well, "nutty" ( their words not mine LOL!!) Well, these gals might think that, but right now, I have a dismantled craft room.....but I don't mind, I really don't. I want to make my craft room / sewing room the best room yet ! I am trying to find some "Angel Border, but haven't had too much success yet. I seen this border when my DH Terry put this and some wallpaper up for a friend's son & his wife in 1999....so it's been awhile, and I think the border and wallpaper was purchased at Lowes, (the young wife works there....still after all these years. ) Maybe I can find some by writing to Lowe's t,o see if they have any more left,
I really Like the border,so maybe someone has some in their "stashes" that I can buy ....it's a dream I know, but maybe just maybe(??) One never knows ?

It's really nice, not as stiff. Even the ladies where they sell the warm and natural like it. I can send a small piece so you can tell the weight. This is the one they bring in. The natural select. I bought the queen and cut them down to baby size quilts.

Quilters Dream Cotton Batting comes in both natural and white in four lofts: request, select, deluxe and supreme.

I don't know if I have your addy anymore so email me. It's in my user notes.

I need to go into town to match up some fabric and have to stop at the two stores anyway. And Walmart is across the street so I can brave the crowds and return something. lol
