I took a quilting class this summer and for reasons beyond my control was unable to attend the last few classes. I have everything ready to go and the person doing the class had said I should do a straight line for my first quilt to keep it simple. I chose a yellow brick road pattern and I'm not really sure how far apart the lines should be. should I stay with the lines of the blocks or would that be to far apart? any suggestions would be great.
