This is the only time I used a layer cake.


2. I didn't prewash, and after it was quilted it shrunk just enough to turn out beautifully. Most of my pieces were the same size though. This picture was taken before the quilting was done. I don't have one after.

3. I didn't have to store these, used them right after they came home with me. I normally just buy yardage, so can't give you ideas on storing precuts.

4. The layer cakes are from the same line of fabric, so all the colors should go together.

5. I think pinwheels will be beautiful with a layer cake.
